Have you ever seen the movie " The Devil wears Prada"? It was so good and funny and the clothes were so gorgeous. So, after I saw the movie, I decided to read the novel. Well, I have to be honest with you one thing:  " I don't really like to read ". But after I read the novel, I fell in love with reading (well, I didn't exactly fall in love but I did like it more than before). Anyway, the novel is very different than the movie. Despite of this, I still like the movie and the novel.

There are countless reasons I like about this book, but I will narrow down three major reasons. First, there are some sweet and  bitter humor. Second, the book fits my current situation. Third, it makes me rethink about my whole life's priority and focus.

Well, American's culture is so differnt than Taiwanese culture. Even thought I have been here for a while ,I still have some hard time to adjust it. For example, the american humor is totally differnt than Taiwanese. In the beginning , I can't tell if it's supposed to be funny or it's supposed to be sarcastic.  All I can say, the sarcastic humor is more than hilarious one.

What is White-Collar Crime?  White-Collar Crime is "A non-violent act involving deception, typically committed by a business person or public official. Evidence in a white collar crime usually involves a "paper trail," of evidence that investigators use to prosecute the case."

The reason I talked about the definition of white-collar crime is because I saw the news about the former president did a such big thing to our country and made me think about a speech I went .A couple months ago, I went to listen to a speech . By that time, I wasn't interested in that topic and didn't want to go in the first place. But my boyfriend encouraged me to check it out, maybe I could find something interesting.

So, when I got there, there were three people dressed very nicely and looked very seriously on the stage. I thought they were some kind of businessmen or lawyers. After they started to introduce themselves,I was right. One was lawyer, another was businessman, and the other is current criminal and  justice professor. Then, they talked about why they were here , what they did and how they become now. The businessman and the lawyer shared their stories about "White-Collar Crime" and the professor explained the  professional terms and talked about how the legal and illegal transactions were.

There are the schools that I recommend. They are not too expensive and they are all public schools.
Since you want to study English program first, I choose those schools who have English program and also not expensive. So, later on , you can apply graduate school after you finish English program in U.S.

我媽今天不曉得怎麼了

有種複雜的心情   恩

想當初 我們都是同一陣線的friend

 I so worry about Taiwan’s future. Because of the leader is America’s citizen too.

Do you believe in Horoscopes? Well, I do sometimes , especially when I found something matches what they predict and/or some people's personalities.
Well, I started to know about Horoscopes,since I was 10 years old. By that time, you would  believe everything  besides your parents said. >< 
So, I always thought my life would be this, my bf would be that and I will be marry in certain age, etc. However, when I am getting older, I know it's not what I think it will be.  I felt a little bit of disappointed but I know it won't be a big deal in my life.
My mom always said, "Your fate is controlled by your own hands and only you can do it." I always keep in mind her words.  Although we can't change the past, we can always do something for our own future. Maybe you regret what you did in the past, but there is no point to think about it now.
Remember : Focus on what we have to finish and face the issues we have to deal with. Don't think about the past and don't try to plan ahead. Just live in real moments.
